Hey there! I'm Nicole, a 22 year old fine artist based in New York.
Aside from painting, I am an actor, playwright, and vocalist. Throughout all my work, I aspire to capture complex, contradictory human experiences while toeing the tonal line between absurdism and realism, mess and control, camp and sincere.

MY WORK
I've been making these expressive messes since I left the womb. Only recently, though, have I started to make sense of them.
In my practice, I mainly work with oils and charcoal in a style I like to call Theatrical Realism. I have an addiction to portraiture, particularly the eyes! With every new piece, I attempt to capture more of my subject's inner life in the details of their gaze.
Creating customized commissions for people to love, cherish, and pass down for generations is the most rewarding part to being an artist.
